From a Polish Gulag to working as a janitor, Mercedes Benz mechanic, and eventually the U.S. Navy SEAL’s.
This is a story you do not want to miss! Drago’s life story really is unlike anything you have ever heard. Thomas ‘Drago’ Dzieran is a retired Navy SEAL, but his life did not start out the way most SEAL’s lives do. Drago was born and raised in the Soviet-occupied, Poland. When Drago was younger he spent 2 years in a Polish Prison (Gulag) due to his activism against the Communist regime. Drago assisted in running an underground newspaper against The Peoples Republic of Poland, a satellite state of the Communist Soviet Union. Martial law was enacted in 1981, and as a result, Drago was put into prison for speaking freely about what he believed. In this episode, Drago points out the current similarities in America that he experienced in Poland growing up.
From there, he traveled to the U.S. He went on to become a janitor, a Mercedes Benz mechanic, and eventually a U.S. Navy SEAL. But there are loads of details sandwiched in between and this podcast will uncover that story. A true “don’t miss” episode of Warrior Mindset!
